Where do South London locals go?

Cream's

Cream's

Classic hot and cold desserts, milkshakes and gelato served in a low-lit, purple and black setting.

The Rookery

The Rookery

A walled garden that would not look out of place in a BBC costume drama. Stunning throughout the year and still relatively undiscovered by the residents of South London. The gardens are beautifully maintained by a justifiably proud set of volunteers.

Norwood Grove House

Norwood Grove House

Known locally as the "White House", Norwood Grove House and its well-tended formal gardens were opened in 1926 by the future King Edward VIII. It is the centrepiece of Norwood Grove itself; a large expanse of grass from which you can overlook Streatham and its surrounding areas. It is thoroughly underutilised and all the better for it!

West Norwood Feast

West Norwood Feast

A community market in south London. Community comes together to taste, eat, drink and admire or buy all handmade items and all things that are on offer.

Crystal Palace Aquarium

Crystal Palace Aquarium

Everything you need for your fish and reptile needs, even little critters like locusts!

Miller & Carter

Miller & Carter

A steak restaurant on Mitcham Common also serving fish dishes and burgers.

Palace Spice

Palace Spice

This Indian restaurant's food is delicious. I am constantly ordering too much, but never upset by the bill. They always offer me free drinks too!

La Casita

La Casita

A fantastic choice of Spanish food and drink all at great value!

The Craft Beer Cabin

The Craft Beer Cabin

Cute little place with the biggest selection of craft beers I've found in ages.

Brooks and Gao

Brooks and Gao

One of only a few decent coffee shops on Streatham High Road. It's slightly pricier than its competitors, but for the quality of the food and coffee, it's justified.

Coffee Craft

Coffee Craft

An excellent recently opened coffee shop in South Norwood with a relaxed atmosphere, serving brilliant coffee, cakes and lunch.

Brown & Green Cafe

Brown & Green Cafe

Grab a quick snack and a coffee whilst at Crystal Palace Station.

Blue and Orange

Blue and Orange

A great restaurant - it's definitely my favourite in Thornton Heath!

Ash Cut and Colour

Ash Cut and Colour

Fantastic local hairdressers with reasonably priced services and very friendly staff!

Artisan

Artisan

Amazing coffee shop serving Allpress Espresso, breakfast items and lunchtime treats.

Why not explore the nearby areas of Norbury, Thornton Heath, Norwood, Streatham, West Norwood, Crystal Palace, Mitcham, Croydon, Upper Sydenham and Streatham Hill

"Streatham High Road is thought to be the longest high street in Europe."

Streatham Common is the perfect place to hang out when the sun is shining.

Stephanie Kele

Colliers Wood is well connected with the City and central London yet boasts green spaces for families and walking the dog.

Bradley Slade

The legendary Clapham Grand has almost become a rite of passage for Claphamites...
